The controller detects
that the security line
of EPAS has a too low
value
1. Switch off the key switch and switch it on
after few seconds and check if the same
error code is repeated
2. Make sure that the EPAS security line
connections between the EPAS controller
and the Combi controller are tight and safe
3. Check for the continuity of the EPAS
security line
- replace the wiring
4. Check if the EPAS controller fuse is burnt
- replace the fuse
5. Internal failure in the EPAS steering
system
- replace the failed component in the
EPAS system
6. Internal failure of the controller
- replace the controller
