according to the manual if a dd shows up the unit is in the wrong mode on the DRS switch. It says if the DRS switch is set to diagnostic position 'D' and seatswitch is closed it will display a 'dd' on the dash.
I would make sure your DRS switch is in the Run position above all things first.
