The speed automatically slows down as the truck turns. The speed reduction varies with the angle of the turn, getting quite slow in a tight turn.

The steer motor should have no play. If the motor is moving at all, the technician needs to dismantle the system and find the loose bolts, etc. This looseness can cause some of the symptoms described.

The technician should examine the control handle for looseness and mechanical play as it should be "tight". (The handle should have a firm neutral position, if it will flop even a small distance, the system will have trouble putting the motors in neutral and they may hum.) Also look for lose or bare wire wires of frayed insulation and cabling. Intermittent connections will give various problems.

The general password is "HLP", although someone may have changed it.

The technician needs to go through the general steer pot and lift and travel pot calibrations. (If he can get into diagnostics.)

Please tell me the specific error numbers so I can help.

Please take care of the mechanical looseness and possible wiring problems before trying to fix any of the other symptoms as those problems may cause the symptoms. Chasing the symptoms without fixing obvious problems is not productive.

Please send an email as per above post or provide your phone number if you'd like us to contact you directly.

Thanks.
