Most of the diagnostic tools are in the dashboard display, if you have access to the password.
Most have a factory set code, but it is typically changed by the dealer during the PDI. This is to prevent bored operators, or other untrained persons from altering the performance or features in the machine, If you are the service provider the local dealer should provide you with access, if they will not give it to you the owner of the machine can request it. If they do not wish to give it out, they will typacally send a tech to reset it to factory or customer requested access code.
Once you access the display, you can access the trouble code logs, this should get you make things easier. Once you have the code, post it or email me and I or one of there other fellows on this page will point you in the right direction.
