If this truck is an older model with SCR controller is very possible that powerlifter tells is right. But if the truck has a digital display when the handbrake is on the truck don't move and displays a warning.

If it has a digital display, Have you try to diagnosis the truck under 150 service addres? Try to check speed sensors and the adjust of cogwheel (timingwheel) in the steering wheel.
