I have an inexpensive hand pallot jack thats made in china. I have a problem w/ it and maybe some can point me in the correct direction.
The jack works ok, lifts ok, but it takes alot of time for the oil to flow into the pressure chamber( about 1 minute), to get a full pump on the handle. You can hear the oil trickling into the chamber. If you dont wait the 40 to 60 seconds only a small lift will result.
I removed and cleaned out the check ball and spring (ect) componets, they all looked ok. I removed and inspected the small pump piston, and blew out all the all the holes. I did not replace the small pump packing. Could it be a faulty packing? Would just like to know what the problem is, if anyone has any ideas.
