Thanks for your response. The solution you are suggesting applies to standup reach lift (you just lay down the lift on it side on pallet without dismantling the mast) However, this is a huge swing reach lift with 15ft mast, 5ft wide and 12.5ft long (see picture on ebay,item # 280722918944/ 1994-Raymond-Swing-Reach-Fork-Lift-Truck-Model-537). I am sure that the lift has to be dismantled before crating (otherwise you will have a pallet 15ft long x 12ft wide and over 13000 lbs), also it was received from Raymond dismantled before was put in service.
