I can see both sides of this arguement. My only problem with it is in my personal experience at a previous employer was I was told that I would need to be able to work OT and be on call every couple of months 24 hours a day for 7 days. I would be given a paid gas card and service van. I would be paid my travel time to the job minus the first half hour. This was all part of the agreement when I hired on just like insurance and 401K benis. I don't know if you've ever driven in Houston traffic but unless you're just driving across the street it'll be 45 minutes to an hour minimum. Every day it was 1-1.5 hours to and from my job site. Then one day the owner pops up and decides he's not going to pay travel time anymore. We figured it out to be about $750,000 more in his pocket per year between all the techs total.

Ain't nothing I can't fix but a broken heart and the break of day!

Fact of the week
According to studies published in the English Journal of Medicine, the impact of daylight savings is revealed by a 24% increase in heart attacks on the Monday following the spring shift forward. When clocks move back in autumn, heart attacks drop by about 21%, suggesting that loss of sleep is an important driver.
