My scenario was similar. I was stationed at customer X, where I drove my own vehicle to the job site everyday. Employer decided after more than a year to put me in a company van, only it had 2 tires in the salvage yard, and the other two were on the rim. So I load my tools in teh van, make a few local service calls. Meanwhile, another resident mechanic for our company was removed due to smoking on customer property. I was informed that I would need to cover there "for a few days". This location was an hour and a half from my home. The "few days" turned into me being permantly stationed there. The next week there was a letter sent to me stating that "I, XX ****, understand that travel time will not be paid to employees blah blah blah. It went on to define travel time as the amount of time it takes to drive from your home to the company's address, which in my case is further than the job site.

Needless to say, this piled on top of other differences was enough for me to say enough.
