thanks rick, i will check those wires, im also working on a 7fgu18 that has an idle problem, rebuilt the fuel accumulator, new plugs, wires, cap and rotor, the lift was surging up and down on idle then I cleaned the carb, no surging but idles high, when I turn down the idle the machine begins to surge again, I have looked for vacuum leaks but have found none. I also disconnected idle switch which lets the machine operate at a lower idle, but then the check engine lights turns on. any ideas thanks for your time
