I had a similar problem with wiring and plugs corroding on machines at a caustic stripping part of a galvanizing plant so from new we packed all the conectors and switches with silicon grease and cable tied plastic bags over them. once the corrosions started you will never stop it ,the trick is to try and prevent it starting in first place.

The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
