I've never understood why Americans put up with their disaster of a health care system.

If you want to understand the American Health Care debate, follow the money. There's a small group of people who have a vested interest in the current, terrible system, because they are making a lot of money off it. Those people will fight change, no matter how good the change would be for the average American. After all, they are making a nice profit, and to **** with Joe Average.
