Our Yale ERC050GHN48TE048 (Serial # A908N01610C) forklift stopped working fwd or reverse directions.
The pump motor comes on OK and the raise/lower/tilt functions all work OK.
When I put it in fwd or reverse, then press the accelerator the display reads error code 07 (Accelerator input voltage too high).
I checked the feedback from the accelerator potentiometer to the control unit (General Electric IC3645SR4W606N6) and it checks out OK:-
4VDC when the pedal is not pressed.
3.64VDC at the point where the START switch is activated.
0.5VDC when the pedal is pressed all the way down.
I checked the START switch operation and it checks OK (Measured at the controller input P3).
I have inspected the traction motor and it is in good condition, commutator is clean and brushes are a good length.
I have also noticed that occasionally the battery symbol sometimes starts flashes on the display panel even though the batteries are fully charged however it only lasts a second or 2 and then goes away. I am not sure if this is associated with the error code 07.
I hope you can give me some advice or point me in the right direction. I suspect a faulty controller but I do not have a spare so I can't confirm this.
Thank you and regards
