Check the coil ohms on the contactor , also tips, springs etc. most likely the contactor pivot is worn , return spring, and some had magnets stuck to the sides of them for debris.
Check also the switch to turn on the pump. On each lever. Ohm out unhooked and check the rollers and return springs. Tilt and SS should be centered properly. Check also lever bushings, lever rods, pins etc for wear. Keeping the switch on longer to due to a misaligned or sticky
