If you remove the seat, there should be 2 inside hecxscrews that can be loosened with allen key, then you can remove the hood. There are actually separate drives for lift and travel, make sure you get the right one. Temp sensors are embedded in the motors swinding so usually it is a 2 pin plug with blue/red white/red wiring or white white.but also make sure the motor is not running hot -there may be a problem with brake or gearbox.
