I've been coming on here for at least 12 years but this is my first post!! Got a fg30n serial af13f00258 sold and was prepping to go out-machine ran perfect no codes..... but I decided to pressure wash it prior to servicing and doing other maintenance... it got wet and would not crank threw a code e38....brought it inside pulled all the electronic connectors blew it out and put fans on the machine-let it sit overnight and came in and did the other things it needed-plugged everything up and now I have a no start condition with p04/f04!! I've checked all connections, swapped relay and fuse boxes, vcm, cluster, ecm, (with correct part numbers off known good trucks) cleaned and checked grounds, etc I'm at a loss.....I think a wire broke inside the insulation when I was disconnecting everything or something! Does anyone have any tech info on this or "tricks" I don't know what wires to check for resistance and voltage etc -I've got an unicarrier truck sitting here with 2k hrs with the same problem....
