Thanks for the reply sounds like you know this motor that shaft in some of the drawings is called a silent shaft whatever that means. Not going to worry about it. its not the oil pump.they used variations of this motor in different vehicles. My main question is would you put that camshaft pip on the timing mark or advance two teeth to give you the 10 degrees advance? this motor seems to be the original.
