Have a Clark LP 3000# forklift, ser #CMC158L-1091 (6853KF). (attachments SS10105 50T)
Problem started suddenly, Unit will start and idle fine, but when trying to accelerate it will stall if pedal is pushed too fast, or can slightly accelerate and use it, or if accelerator is just right it will surge in RPM's repeatedly. I understand it has a Mitsubishi 4 cylinder engine with an Impco Model 100 carburetor.
Put a new diaphragm in the carb, new rebuild kit in the regulator and changed fuel filter. Maybe it helped slightly?
