Today i replaced the water pump and thermostat housing and associated components, and upon reassembly did a radiator flush and ran the forklift for a bit. In the process, one of the transmission hoses that goes from the transmission to the bottom of the radiator got a solid leak which i didnt notice for a bit. Anyway after turning it off and cleaning it and the ground up, I heading off to get new hoses. When I got back, the forklift just wouldnt start unless i applied some throttle or choke, and when they were released it would just die, couldnt idle. No idea whats caused it or what to do to fix it. It had been raining and the forklift was outside, but I did have a tarp over the roof, but don't see how that could have caused this mystery issue. Any clue what could be happening?
