I do not know much about the truck you are working on but it sounds like you have a voltage drop in the starter circuit l might be able to help you if you go to world lift l wrote a guy with the same problem it will say netural safety problem by Scott try doing what l told him and see if this fixes your problem with out ripping the wiring apart hope this helps let me know if this works
