Mine would be the latter. Thank you again. I figured I might have that wrong and would guess I probably do. At least at this point I know what I am looking for and what to check/change. I have all service manuals so I can double check them. It is getting to be where no one is a mechanic anymore most are just parts changers until it works. I have spent countless hours with Genie techs and they are instructed to not help anyone that does not have a dealer ID, which is stupid, but I have found a few really good guys that were helpful that ignored that , thank goodness. The first problem was a frayed, not broken wire from the tilt sensor. It showed continuity but the ECM would not recognize it. I found that on my own, no one ever mentioned it. Hopefully won't need your help again on this but it is certainly appreciated.
