the tilt sensor envelope on most genie units is not very much before it triggers the safety protocols and disables lifting height. I believe the maximum tilt it will allow before it disables the lift is 6.6 deg front to back and 10.6 deg side to side as listed in the performance specifications in the service manual.
If you're out of that range there's nothing you can do about it, and i doubt anyone will suggest anything to help you alter this safety feature.
What i would do is get a digital level and check the range on the level sensor and make sure it is triggering at the correct level offset. If it does not agree with the specifications then your level sensor is most likely faulty and should be replaced.
Does your unit have outriggers? Some have them, some don't.
If it does then those have to be set to level up the machine before lifting can be resumed.
