Hello Guru's,

I have the above lift truck with one issue. The reverse drive is very weak. In a forward direction it will drive up an incline and seems to have the appropriate drive power. On level ground it will drive in reverse although once revs increase the power seems to drop off. At idle it will start to drive (reverse) up a slight incline, when you increase revs, the drive drops off completely to the point where the lift truck will start to roll forward. I am not familiar with lift trucks and can deduct from looking at a much newer Yale lift truck parts manual that if it drives OK in a forward direction but has issues in reverse, it is more than likely the reverse clutch pack?
The machine is Old, seriel number is G65027 I have no idea what year is actually is? The transmission is connected to a mechanical linkage to the shift level and not via soleniods.
Could anyone shed any light on the possible problem and advise where I could source a parts and or service manual?

Thanks
