I had a couple of these in my fleet a while ago. The 5G/5H codes usually occured when the battery voltage was low. Making sure your battery has a good charge and is watered is the first step. I moved the power cables away from the traction amps control wiring. (Inside the battery compartment behind the traction motors) There isn't that much play in the cables. But that helped with the interference.
