Fault description
uC2 RPM tests

Conditions of occurrence
various tests...(index gives 0 for RPMA, 1 for RPMB, 2 for RPMC)

RPMA(0): The speed output from the main controller (RPMOUT) was not the same as the speed request on CAN (RPMCAN) as monitored by the safety.
RPMB(1): The motor RPM measured on X13:103 (RPMsensor) is not the same as the motor RPM measured by the LAC (LACsensor).
RPMC(2): There is a RPM output to the LAC when the joysticks are not operated (or only lower is operated).
Result
No Hydraulic functions

Possible causes
RPMA(0): There is a CANbus problem

or another illegal CAN device must be corrupting the data
or there might be a fault within the control module
RPMB(1): The speed sensor is faulty (one channel is bad)

Or the LAC is calculating the speed incorrectly - faulty LAC
Or the control module is calculating the speed incorrectly - faulty module
RPMC(2): Possible fault within control module (only if found to be the only reason for truck malfunction)

Fact of the week
The word "robotics" was coined by Russian-born American science-fiction writer Isaac Asimov who first used the word in 1942 in his short story 'Runabout'. He characterised robots as helpful servants and as "a better, cleaner race."
