have you tried jacking the front wheels off the floor and making note of what happens with the drive wheels when you try to run the truck in a direction?
have you run it through a self diagnostic test and make note of how the drive wheels react when you run the test?
the main possible cause is a defective drive transistor but there may be other things that can cause this.
