Guys. I have a Fiat Reach truck. I got it second hand and it was delivered and some people stole the charger from outside my unit.
The forks were fully charged when I got and the indicator on the forks went down with usage. When it got to flashing red it died.
I got a 48 volt charger called a Oldham Crompton and I had to buy the correct plug to go into the forks to charge. When charging the charger says a 4 digit number like 6083 next to it is a % sign. s I have no instructions for charger I have no idea what this means? I charged the forks overnight, the charger made all the correct noises (I.e it clicked into action about 20 seconds after turning on) and buzzed loudly.
The next day the forks seemed great. Loads of power BUT the flashing red Battery dead light on the forks is still flashing red even though its charged for hours. Can it be that as the charger is NOT the one that came with the forks the Charge indicator light will not work? The charger is single phase and going into my fuse box. is it possible its not getting enough currant? Even though the forks work I will never know when it's going to Die at this rate. Thanks
