Discussion:
Brake Issue

New to the Forklift ownership. Was able to get this cool older unit running but now it seems that maybe the emergency brake may be stuck, not able to move forward or reverse. Looking for a copy of user and repair manual for this model. I have a display icon that is lit but without the manuals I can only guess that maybe its the e brake icon. Maybe someone can give me some insight to an adjustment procedure before I start tearing into the wheels etc. It could be froze up too. Thanks and appreciate any help.

Could be a few things.

How much free play is there in the brake pedal linkage to the master cyl?

Try loosening one of the wheel cyl bleeders & see if any residual pressure comes out (there should be none). If some comes out- try to move truck then.

The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
