Discussion:
Remove tilt cylinder

I am trying to remove the front pin on the left side tilt cylinder. There is no way to drive the pin out, because the inside end of pin is blocked by the mast. Anyone know of a tool or technique to ease the removal of this pin?

They are not the only ones. Have you loosened the clamp bolt on the yolk? This will make unscrewing the ram a lot easier.

BREWSKI and Mrfixit, thanks for your responses. Unfortunately the pin does not have the threaded hole in the end of it. I attempted to unscrew the shaft, but it is extremely tight. I will go back and try this again. In the meantime, if anyone has other suggestions, please let me know. I cannot believe Clark designed this lift in a way that the pin can't be driven out.

The end of the pin may have a threaded hole in the center to screw a bolt into to help pull it out.

You have to remove it from the inside out. The second option is to unscrew the ram from the yolk and remove the cylinder.

In May 2023, a Belgian Malinois named Wilson played a key role in the rescue of four children lost in the Amazon jungle. The young children were missing for 40 days after a plane crash that killed their mother and other adults. Wilson tracked the children's footprints, leading the military to their location.
