Discussion:
Regulator question

Hi, model number is 7FGU25, serial number is 81130. Replacement regulator part number is 23530-U2201-71. I'm trying to find out if this is plug and play or if it needs adjusting after install. I have no experience with this, any help would be greatly appreciated. Some stores tell me that without a small tag on the existing regulator I risk buying the wrong part, but I cannot see a tag. The only number stamped on it are: Aison W.P.250P.S.1 (may be 8.I instead of S.1) and W.C.0311 L8S. The lift has been running rough since I bought it about 2 months ago, so Im not even sure this is the correct regulator. Thank you so much!!

Am not sure of that part number but on the top of the assin converter if it has a screw that is an open loop converter you would have to adjust after you install if there is a hose about 3/8 going from the top of the assin converter to the side of the carberator there is a injector that converter is a closed loop and no adjustment can be made. if you have the one with the screw it should still start before you adjust. Most 7 series had the converter that is not adjustable.
