Discussion:
Rectifier # 2 and # 5

I need to know which rec you can use for both. Can you use #2 inplace of #5, or #5 inplace of #2? Also I have a Bendi #2 rectifer p/n (101011), can anyone cross that # to a hyster, clark, or any less expensive p/n. Its an ev100 and the rec is a small block (square) type. I'm not sure if there is different types of #2 recs for ev100's that are block (square) type w/ the gate and 2 screw terminals

RS components are an online supplier of electronic parts.

The part number is an equivalent for the rec 2 and 5, the make of the truck does not matter as the parts are used on the EV100 power blocks and then can be used in whichever truck it was manufactured for.

I have been using these for years without any problems, its the recs I use when providing repairs for customers.

to be pedantic, you can use either one, (it will work and cycle) however the #2 rec is designed and spec to carry more current, and it may result in an early failure to use the #5 rec in place of a #2

"it's not rocket surgery"
You can use a #2 REC as a #5 but cant use a #5 as a #2.
