Discussion:
RAYMOND Can not enter superword

Easi OPC30TT S/N Easi 94 AJ09982
I was having code 23 replaced the Q1 the truck started up no problems. Then i decided to run learn mode. i got thru the move forward and reverse then went to lift and no beep finally it beeped then went to down no beep at all. so i turned the key off thought i would try again and now i get no bar to enter superword it just shows weight. Tryed differant control handle and get the same thing. now getting code 45 This thing is kicking my butt. Ran learn mode 2 times with no problems before changing Q1 sure could use some ideas!!!
Thanks James

On a code 23, ALWAYS replace Q1 and REC 2, they come in a kit. If you go through SMH, they are like $250 cheaper than a Malin or Raymond dealership. Also made sure your TM modules are still good, if not they have to be replaced as a set.

if these are anything like the ray/cats ohming it out wont help you when installing it, the truck uses voltages not ohms when reading the pot.
The only advantage you will get from ohming it out is to see if the wiper/varistor is defective or not.
Which is helpful but wont get you in the right ballpark when setting the pot so the system can see it in the "right place".

:o)

check the wires termination on the pot, make sure the circuit isnt across the resistor circuit instead of being on the resistor and wiper like its supposed to be. If wired incorrectly it will read wrong. I also know its tight in that area so while checking the wires make sure none are touching each other....
They should be insulated with heatshrink though.
I can tell you this though, if you dropped out of learn mode in the middle of programming you did fubar it up a little bit and it will be a pain to get it back to the normal spot without using the analog test mode to monitor voltage while aligning it.

good luck!

I found a way to get my password entered, via display
Tried runing learn mode for control handle, would not read vr2
The handle is good I know and have a backup
Ran tests for vr1 and vr2 card is not reading vr2
Just reads 5 volts thinking the CCC is bad. What you think??

Fact of the week
The origin of "love" as the score zero in tennis is debated, but two main theories prevail. One suggests it's derived from the French word "l'oeuf" (egg) which resembles the shape of the number zero. The other proposes it's related to the Dutch word "lof" meaning "honour" as players might be playing for honour when scoreless.
