primary lift not operating correctly - Technical Troubleshooting discussion in Forkliftaction's forums

Hyundai HYUNDAI 25 L-7:
primary lift not operating correctly

hi first of all may i say its actually a hyundai 25D-7 triple mast. The free lift is only lifting to half way before the secondary lift is operating? the problem seems to correct its self if the operator raises to full extent but the fault reappears after about an hour? Any help greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the sequencing valve is acting up, it is located in the bottom of the free lift cylinder rod. This is a common problem with these trucks and the part is readily available.
