Clark CG25:
Pressure relief valve issue???

Hello, I have a Clark lpg cgc25, when full tilt is requested machine abruptly shuts off after making a screeching sound that seems to come from hydraulic manifold. Opened hydraulic tank cap while running machine and can see a good amount of oil being dumped back into the tank despite the fact that no hydraulic function is being requested. I am thinking there may be an issue with the main relief valve but am not 100 percent sure. Any ideas or suggestins would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

Check the relief setting. Should be 3100-3200 psi. It's normal to see flow into tank with just engine running. You may not notice a reduction in flow unless you're lifting to divert the flow.

I also have a CGP25 that is experiencing the same issue. I have no hyd. functions at all though, steering is working fine? I pulled the hyd. tank cap off and ran the unit and there is a good flow back to tank- No change in flow with any of the hyd. levers activated?

Thoughts?
