Discussion:
P60A Hyster mast

I need a Hyster expert!!!. On early Hyster P60A rough terrain trucks, they used a "welded channel" upright that had problems with the channels "bowing" out. They later changed to a "formed channel" to correct that problem. I have a customer who has the welded channel upright,(mast #33094) with bowed channels. I have found a used formed channel upright (mast #201881). I have 2 questions; will the formed channel upright fit on his truck? We have checked all the measurements and they are the same. 2. His old mast has an integral side shifter and the formed channel mast has no side shifter. Will his integral side shifter fit the formed channel mast?

well i'll take an educated guess at this one so dont quote me
the hyster welded channels compared to the formed channels were always as far as i know dimensionally the same apart from one thing
the shape of the load rollers were the only thing that was different
so.........i would say that the P 60 masts would be interchangable
also the carriage should fit as well but remember the rollers will need to be changed from one carriage to the other
and of course legally speaking if it does all fit together you will need to replate it for the side shift
