No I was but aren`t now. It was such a shame when they took over and carried over the numptys that made the other one go bust. Out the window went the firm who used to do things right way back when but all anybody is interested in how cheap can we do it. Not whether it is right, safe or in the long term interest of the company. The order of the day seems to be decent engineers are no longer needed and we will pick up customers anyway so we don`t have to provide a service of any quality because all people are bothered about is how cheap is it.
This comes, in my humble opinion, by firms being run by accountants and anyone who has the slightest interest in giving a good service has to go because it is no longer cost effective.
Daryl, I'm assuming you work for the company I left a few years ago. Head office down south not far from the sea? "Merger" of 2 companies a few years back? They certainly seem to have taken the worst things from both companies and joined them together!
V.P. of what? They're like any big corporation, you can't turn around with out bumping into one. I think our company has 1 VP ratio to every 8 techs, and we have over 900 techs in the US alone.
How bout that buddy? Wheels a turnin.
WOW!!! Not to get off subject but I heard Yale fired their VP friday. He was escorted out of the building?
I always refered to it as the Plantation.
