I think there set up has a cap on the top of both ends of the steer cylinder. If you remove the cap there should be a snap ring under it , Remove the snap rings and pry up on each end to remove the cylinder.
Duo deluxe might be a long shot but I have one just like his and I need to know how to get the steering hydraulic cylinder off to get it serviced out and I cant find anything about it
Duo deluxe how could I contact you and ask you a couple of questions.
If it runs why do you need to tow it up the trailer? That truck should be able to climb anything when running correctly.
Do you have any more photos of this forklift? I may have the same model but am not sure
the serial number is 320509000-970
does anyone here know where the short circuit valvs are so I can tow it up onto a trailer?
I cant fine them anywhere
and it was moved a couple times without these valves being opend, I hopeit isnot damaged?
I would need to know the serial #. Without it the parts manual would be correct but there were some changes in the parts that would not be.
You can contact me directly at gitrucks at adelphia dot net.
It must be FJF50 It has air tires and a 6 cylinder continental let me know about service and parts manuals thanks
Donald; You have the wrong model #. It is either FJD50 or FJF50. The FJD50 has cushion tires and 4 cylinder Continental engine. The FJF50 has pneumatic tires and a 6 cylinder Continental engine. I have service and parts manuals for both.
If the plate is missing the serial # should be stamped on the right hand side of the frame right next to the floor board.
Thanks for the info any more you can give me would help a lot on this machine wish I could find a manual.
At that age of machine it will be more temperature dependant than anything else. I see you are in SC. I would start with a good name AW46.
I have a 1969 Otis Baker FJP 050 forklift it runs fine but I need to know what type and kind of hydraulic fluid it needs if any one can tell me
Obviously, it is impossible to know what it is worth just knowing the model #. It COULD be worth any where from $6,000 to $12,000. What kind of manual do you want? You can e mail me at gitrucks at adelphia dot net
one thing I would like to know is about what its worth.
and it would be nice to get a user manual for it
It IS a Linde. The serial # should start with 320........
It is a 15,000# capacity truck equipped with a 6 cylinder Deutz air cooled diesel engine and is hydrostatic drive.
