Discussion:
Off loading a new forklift without a dock. Advise/Suggestions appreciated.

Hello, new here and new to owning any sort of forklifts (although I've used many)

I just purchased a Crane Stand up forklift. Having it shipped to my new warehouse space. The problem is I don't have a dock to offload the lift / lower it to the ground and I only have a couple days to figure out how to accomplish it. Sorry in advance if this is a stupid question.

I don't have a dock or really have access to one. So trying to figure out another way to lower it to the ground. The guy I bought it from said it can be accomplished with a tow truck, but I have no idea if this is the case or not..

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could offer any suggestions. Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot for the reply. I appreciate it. At least now I know what the heck to call the process when trying to contact people about it. Thanks again.

A tilt n load can back up to the trailer. Drive forklift on tilt n load then he can drop it to the ground. It's called a double drop.
