You get what you pay for.... and you haven't paid.
Hi there

I already get a Toyota 8HBW23 walkie pallet truck, but without any information including pin code for activation.

Are these codes standard for every Toyota walkie pallet or individual for each equipment. I revised the whole device and found anything related to pin code.

Any clue on this?

Hi Yidneck,

if it is not a bother request...
Do you want to share me how to bypass the numeric keypad in a Toyota 8HBW23 electric pallet jack?

I will really appreciate it

Luis

You may have to contact the dealer to do this request as the cable and software are proprietary. It is a option to have the keypad exist on the unit. Not a requirement to operate the machine.

U will need the laptop/program and data cable to turn of the feature in the parameters. You can also shut off the need for the controller key so no need for cable and key to change this again. If you have access to these , this is the only way to do this change.

If it shows boot and doesn't power up. May have to reinstall software. If any boards are replaced you have to reinstall software Any signs of moisture, replace the card and software

Are you able to bypass the keypad without having the keypad already working? I have the programming key, but the service manual states that I need to enter the keypad code to get to the parameter menu. I can't enter the code because the keypad circuit on the board is bad.

Bad keypad.
Every time you try to move the keypad it breaks. So putting in a new one doesn't help unless your very gentle and now how to bend the wire ribbon without damaging it. Best way is to bypass keypad.

Do you repair electric forklift trucks?
I have a problem with this truck.
I can't turn on the truck with the keyboard., change the controller, the rudder wiring, the keypad, in the dispay indicates boot, but does not illuminate the keypad when entering the code.

And to bypass the keypad you need the programming key and it's down through the throttle and horn switch.

The 7hbw23 has decent key pads. It's the newer model 8HBW23 that's messed up.

The keypads are simple plug & play, just replace it - the pin codes are stored in the tiller head card.

Its very rare for these keypads to fail, some of the buttons do wear out eventually but I've not replaced that many in the last 15 years.
