Discussion:
not starting

Hi, I have a hyster S60XM serial number is D187V17353X. Has a 2002 mazda 2.2l engine in it. Im getting fire to my coil and plugs. Lift will crank over and start hitting as long as key is turned soon as I let off of the key it dies out. Almost like a fuel issue, I have cleaned the carburetor it still does it. Is there anything these lifts are notorious for that could be causing this or is it going to take getting a service tech out to hook it up.

"it's not rocket surgery"
Electronic or point ignition , if points then check the ballast resistor on + side of coil(. 12 volt when cranking and approx 7 volts when running)
Timing belt could have jumped a tooth/. Food for thought
