I have 2005 Clark C30L that doesn't run very good at all.
I can get it to idle and rev up a little bit when I disconnect the PCV, which basically give it a large vaccum leak. Also, the vaporizer and hose going to the throttle body freeze up. Once the antifreeze get warm enough it won't freeze up any more.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
Brad

Well that's a heck of a price for a forklift ! An definitely worth putting a little time or money into.Me ,not the same luck.I bought mine for a good deal (,I thought )but unfortunately being an shop owner I've had the opportunity to research and understand some of the LP process's on a forklift and what makes then tick,Fun fun.
But another thing, if ya did get it for bout nuttin and it's a decent truck,I'd get with the manufacture and have a certified mechanic come and run through it.Then it's done and done right and guaranteed too. A good reliable truck is priceless , well in my line of business it is.
Thanks Valentine for the response.
Yes as far as I know it ran good before this issue. I just acquired the forklift because the previous owner couldn't figure it out and just didn't need it anymore.
That is a good idea, I will try and turn the tank off and see what it does. It actually idles nice with the PCV unplugged, I just cant get any RPM out of it.
I will keep you posted.
Thanks again.

Has it ran good before this issue? Did it happen when you refueled? Sounds like it's in the vaporizer causing it to flood the motor, which is why the frozen fuel lines, until motor just keeps it warm. Get it started again and turn tank off and right before it runs out does see if it idles better or smoother. Hope to hear back from you and your answers.
