Discussion:
No throttle response!

New to the forklift world and just picked up an old Komatsu FG15-11. Everything works and it runs great, the only problem is I have no throttle response. This was also converted to LPG so it is no longer gas. Now there is a vacuum line missing down near the governor, would this cause there to be absolutely no throttle response?

Hi. Not sure if you have managed to resolve your throttle issue. I used to be a Komatsu Engineer. (Scotland UK). Some gas conversions had a guvernor adaptor which went below the main carb..Inside there is a long sping which is used to adjust the guvernor. Occasionally this spring breaks resulting in no throttle..
Thanks
Pete

Probably not but it sounds like the governor is broken and the throttle plate in it is closed. A broken spring in governor will cause that.
