Check your charging voltage- too much either way could cause issue- Do yourself a favor & start a new thread for more responses

I have a H40XMS that keeps taking out the ignition module. Replace the distributor and coil with OEM, module in new distributor went out. Replaced module with new OEM, it is out now, too. What can be taking out the ignition modules?

I agree- especially with electronic ignition parts- gotta love em- to death! I try to cross the parts over to NAPA when possible- much better luck & quality

Fixed it today. Turns out the ignition module I replaced went bad after a couple of days. Of course I didn't suspect it since it was new. Aftermarket parts gotta love them.

Have you checked for power to the ignition circuit while cranking? Could be a faulty ignition switch
