Cat Lift Trucks (& Caterpillar) T30D:
No Spark to plugs

ok I'm not an auto mechanic by any stretch of the imagination. This lift just quit running. I removed the coil and tested it with a multimeter. The reading seemed low and the insulation was gone from some of the wires so I replaced it. I installed it attempted to start it. The engine turns over
but will not start. I bought a spark tester and checked the spark from the coil to the distributor =Looks good. I checked from distibutor to plugs = nothing. I then replaced the distibutor cap and rotor and end up with the same result. This lift uses propane. Could there possibly be something in that circut that is shutting it down? Any help would be appreciated
