Hello Herald, Here is the serial # 350J1236918, it is a twin pedal unit. I also strarted the truck disconected the throttle pot and tried to plugin the reverse coil wiring, the engine shut down!! Don't know if this helps or not, I am looking at getting the accel. pot. Thanks Ted
Hi ted that is correct the truck will rev up with brake on when directon selected,it is a difficult fault for you to diagnose without laptop/analizer.If you swopped the plugs over on the solenoids and rvs worked then ths would suggest the solenoids are ok.I am assuming you have a twin pedal truck rather than single pedal with direction switch,my next step would be to change the drive pot under the pedals this just unbolts and refit new one with locating arm in slot and tighten up,you will not need laptop to do this and no set up is required. The drive solenoids are controlled by the Hyd control module(silverbox)under the air filter assy, and this would appear to be seeing a fault and stopping the truck from driving, most other components are common to both directions so drive in fwd would also be stopped.
Hello Herarld , I do not have the serial # at this time. It does have a lightning symbol,I have reversed the leads to the solenoid & it does reverse. With the park brake applied if the direction pedal is pushed ( either direction) the engine will rev slightly as I believe it should. Release the brake and as soon as you move the directional pedal to reverse the engine is shut down or if you release the brake & attempt to plug the wiring to the reverse solenoid it also shuts down the engine. I will get the serial #. Thanks for your time Ted.
Hi ted what serial number is the truck,is it a digital truck?does it flash a red lightning symbol on display when it cuts out?have you tried to swop the plugs from fwd and rvs solenoids to see if fault transfers, you could have a faulty solenoid.
