Discussion:
No Hydraulics working

Was working fine. Turned off the engine. Started the engine and have no hydraulics for the mast. I have an orange indicator on the dash. The book says hydraulic fault.
I have codes h4016 h3016 h2016 h1016.
Any help would be most appreciated as the forks are up and the spreader is open.
Forklift still drives..
Regards
Jim

Jim,

Glad to hear everything worked out. Just so you know, codes starting with an E are for engine, t are for transmission and of course, H is for hydraulics. Be careful with the e and t, they look similar on the display.

The hard to do we do right away. The impossible just takes a little longer.

Jim,

The hydraulic levers or joystick need to be calibrated. To perform calibration on the levers or joystick, turn key on and disconnect the electrical connector to joystick or each individual lever. Connect one lever, move full position in one direction and hold for three seconds, repeat for other direction holding for three seconds. Complete for each lever. If codes do not clear, probably controller issue. For the joystick, you will need to move the handle in all positions, completing one function each time holding for three seconds. So complete the lift and lower function first, then the tilt function and so on. Good Luck.

The use of "hello" as a telephone greeting is attributed to Thomas Edison. He is said to have suggested it as a simpler alternative to other greetings, such as "Do I get you?" or "Are you there?".
