Model 62-7FD25 forklift with 6800h not moving forward, reverse ok. I have had the valve cover off completely disassembled and cleaned thoroughly. Solenoids ok and tried switching them, no difference. Electricity ok, 14V at both solenoids. Oil level ok. Pressure at M port is about 13 bar at idle, C port about the same pressure when selecting forward or reverse gear. Any other things to try or do I start taking the engine and gearbox out? When I drained the oil it looked red and clean, no junk or sludge came out.

I am having this same problem on an 8fgcu30 please someone help rebuilt trans found several worn plates but still no fwd have reverse and and good solenoid a free moving spools
If I get pressure on the Clutch port in both forward and reverse, does that mean the problem is not in the valve cover?
Left the engine running and in reverse gear with wheels off the ground to warm up the oil. When shifting fwd and reverse the gearbox makes the same click and hissing sound both directons, but the wheels only turn backwards. No drive in fwd, but slowly spinning backwards.
With the wheels off the ground they are spinning backwards in neutral and fwd gear also. Faster spinning when in reverse and with oil flow noise as expected. No oil noise in fwd and neutral but still spinning backwards.
Tested the clutch packs by showing a hose with compressed air down the two holes. Both clutches seem to work as they slam shut when applying pressure.. So it seems the problem must be in the valve cover anyway, even though it was thoroughly cleaned..? Although all valves seem to move freely in the cover.
if you get no reaction -at all-, even when you jumper to energize the solenoids, you may have a valve body spool stuck or it's time for a trans rebuild.
I havent tried lifting it yet. Reverse gear works fine though. Can drive backwards all day. No reaction on forward.
do the drive wheels turn equal in both directions, when they are in the air and unit in neutral with no park brake on?
