Discussion:
no forward or reverse

Hi, first post here. our clark npr17 reach truck wont move forward or in reverse. motor runs when stepping on brake but stops after a few seconds. The battery is weak but the lift, reach and tilt functions normally. Found an inline fuse under the top cover and replaced it but still no movement. Parking brake is working and I can hear the switch on it work. Is there something easy to check? Any help please. The display now reads -48 when joystick is moved either forward or reverse.

That motor you hear running is the Accessory motor and normally times out if you are not using steering, reach or side shift.
Confirm first your battery is fully charged, then make sure the park brake releases.
A dirty or burnt normally closed directional contactor tip will throw a 48 fault and you will notice no contactor click when operating handle.
Sometimes tapping the contactor assembly will jar the tips and unit will run.
Also inspect your drive motor brushes, a worn or open brush set will also display 48 with no directional function.

Sounds like your forward and reverse contractors need refurbished. I would start there.

Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
