Discussion:
No Acceleration & No Codes

a customer has a machine that would crank but not run. a service tech looked at it and diagnosed a bad converter (nikki lp system). the customer purchased and installed a new converter. the forklift now runs but will not accelerate. there are no codes displayed on the dash.

The first thing to look for would be small circle in hr meter. The circle if present will be located near an icon. This will determine if the unit is low on reservoir coolant, clogged air filter and such. Is lift not throttling up or just idle only?
