nissan z24 timing marks

anyone know where the timing marks are suppose to be set on this engine. Is # 1 suppose to be at top dead center. Thanks

i think on that engine the timing marks on the chain are a brass color different from the other links and they line up on the marks on the gears its been a while since i was in one of those

Fact of the week
The word "robotics" was coined by Russian-born American science-fiction writer Isaac Asimov who first used the word in 1942 in his short story 'Runabout'. He characterised robots as helpful servants and as "a better, cleaner race."
